Club Prior is Prior Lake's adult resource and recreation center and shares space with the Prior Lake Library. It is open Mondays through Thursdays from 9AM to 3PM.

The 6,000-square-foot center is used for social activities for all ages, but mainly serves as a place where seniors meet, participate in planned events and activities, get information on health and wellness and organize trips. 

The center, while the responsibility of the City, operates in close cooperation with many community partners.

Crafty Hour w/Rug Hooking

  • Date: 08/28/2025 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  

Spend your Monday morning flexing your creative muscles. Work on a new or old project and get inspired by others. Club Prior has a wide array of craft supplies that’ll help jumpstart your next project. 

On Thursdays, learn about Traditional Wool Rug Hooking, the art of using wool strips to create rugs, chair covers, table runners and wall tapestry and more household items. Other craft projects are welcome to join us, as we will create new friendships, learn new skills and share laughs and fun.
