Club Prior (Ages 55+)

  • Club Prior is Prior Lake’s adult resource and recreation center for adults age 55 and older, located inside the Prior Lake Library.
  • Hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

The center serves as a welcoming space where older adults can:

  • Connect through social activities and planned events
  • Access health and wellness information
  • Participate in trips and group activities

Club Prior is operated by the City of Prior Lake in close partnership with community organizations.

Memory Café with Dementia Caregiver Support Group

Club Prior is proud to be teaming up with NorBella/Lifespark Senior Living and Senior Community Services to offer a monthly “Memory Café”.

Memory Cafés offer different activities each month, providing a positive experience for older adults with memory loss (or other types of dementia) and their caregivers.

While care receivers participate in the activity, caregivers may attend a support group facilitated by a licensed social worker.

The Memory Café is open to the community so if you know anyone who would benefit from attending, please feel free to invite them.

July Special Guest: During our time together, a MacPhail Music for Life Teaching Artist will lead a variety of music-based activities such as interactive singing, instrument-playing, movement with music, improvisation, music history, and/or song-writing activities. Each session will be structured around a theme and provide plenty of opportunities for reminiscing. community building and having fun through music!
