2026 Story Strolls Series
Story Strolls are books you can read as you go on a short nature walk. Instead of pages, the book is on large boards placed throughout a designated trail at the park, making it easier to read as you walk. While you read, you search for images to complete a story scavenger hunt. Visit one of the three park locations listed below during the designated dates and park open hours to complete the story and the scavenger hunt. Story Strolls is “FREE” and is a collaboration between Scott County Library, Scott County Parks in partnership with Three Rivers, Prior Lake Parks & Recreation and Savage Parks & Recreation.
Visit Lakefront Park between May 15-17, during open hours to complete the scavenger hunt using the Watercress story boards.
This is a self-guided tour that families can enjoy at their leisure. The stroll will lead you in a 0.6-mile loop on a wooded trail through the park starting near the bandshell.
