Soma Chair Yoga Therapeutic Movement blends neuroscience, kinesiology, breath-work, guided imagery, and super slow intentional yoga movements to help release tension patterns, retrain muscle imbalances, provide a sense of calm, and increase proprioception (the brain’s awareness of where the body is in space).
It is ideal for seniors or anyone with limited mobility; people experiencing chronic
pain or high stress; and those folks either new to yoga or seeking a deeply
restorative practice.
Regular somatic practice will aid in preventing falls and injuries, relieve acute pain, and help correct misalignments and unhealthy routine movement patterns.
