DESCRIPTION:<p>Join us for this new drop-in writing group led by Sherry Lee</p><p>July 7, 14, 21, and 28; 10-11am</p><p>A Gathering of Storytellers is for writers of all levels and non-writers are encouraged and welcome. Each week Sherry will guide you using stories and poems to spark your memory and imagination, to write and share your stories. Bring something to write with, paper and pen, or laptop, and your enthusiasm.&nbsp;</p><p>Sherry Quan Lee approaches writing as storytelling, we all have stories to tell and our stories connect us, our stories create community. Sherry is a writer, a teacher, and a mentor. She has taught creative writing at Metro State University and managed the Online Mentoring Program for Writers at the University of MN, Split Rock Arts Program. Also, she was a Loft Literary Mentor in Poetry. Her memoir was a Minnesota Book Award Finalist. She is editor of How Dare We! Write: a multicultural creative writing discourse which includes the stories of 30 writers from Minnesota, Montana, New York, Georgia, Philadelphia, Washington, California, and Canada.</p>
