The City of Prior Lake will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of Segment 1 of the Highway 13 Trail Project on Friday, November 14, at 10:45 a.m. The event will take place on the newly completed portion of the trail near the State Bank of Faribault.

The Highway 13 Trail Project is part of a multi-phase initiative to enhance pedestrian and bicycle safety, improve connectivity, and expand recreational opportunities along the Highway 13 corridor. Segment 1 marks a significant milestone in the project’s progress, establishing a safe, accessible route linking County Road 42 to Oakland Beach Ave SE.

City officials, project partners, and members of the public are invited to attend the ceremony. Following brief remarks and the ribbon cutting, attendees will have the opportunity to walk or ride the new trail segment.
