Prior Lake Police responded to a welfare request around 9 a.m. Saturday morning at a home near Spruce Trail and Spruce Circle. 

During the investigation, officers determined there was a need to go inside the home. When they entered a bedroom of the they home, they found a 35-year-old man and 34-year-old woman deceased. Their identities are being withheld pending notification of relatives. 

Prior Lake Police and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are investigating the deaths and there is no ongoing public safety threat.
