The Economic Development Authority (EDA) proposes specific economic development plans, projects or strategies to enhance the economic strength of the community. As a separate corporation from the city, the EDA has many powers that the City possesses. The EDA meets on the second Monday of each month at City Hall from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
The Business Engagement Committee and Economic Development Authority, together with city staff, have created an Economic Development website for the purpose of providing information and promoting resources for economic development in Prior Lake.
