Recommended by the Park and Trail System Plan (Memorial Park chapter), the city is developing a Master Plan for Memorial Park in 2026.  The process began in February and is expected to conclude by the end of the year.

The process includes:

• Park inventory and analysis, condition assessments
• Community engagement
• Concept development
• Additional community engagement
• Preferred Master Plan identified
• Implementation strategy
• Final Plan adoption
