True to its name, the City of Prior Lake is home to 15 lakes which provide hundreds of miles of scenic lakefront and a multitude of recreational opportunities throughout the year.

The City’s parks and trail system boasts 49 parks, encompassing 1,000 acres of parkland and 80 miles of sidewalks and trails, with public beaches, fishing piers, community gardens, recreation amenities and more!

The Parks and Recreation Division takes pride in maintaining the City's parks and trail systems, as well as providing recreational programming opportunities for residents of all ages and abilities.
