Three ways to vote

 

VOTE BY MAIL

Request a vote-by-mail ballot to be mailed to you, that is to be returned by mail or dropped off at Prior Lake City Hall (see below for additional information): Absentee Ballot.

Ballots for a general election will be mailed out. Returned ballots must be received by Election Day. Once you have mailed your ballot, you can track its status: Track Status of Ballot.

You can also return your ballot in person at Prior Lake City Hall with a Scott County Elections Representative. Drop site hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., closed 11 a.m. to Noon for lunch. Click here for more information about voting by mail

 

 

VOTE EARLY IN-PERSON

 

Vote early in-person at Prior Lake City Hall, 4646 Dakota St. SE, Prior Lake, MN, 55372. 

  • Polls are open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. during an election.
  • Direct Ballot early voting starts a few weeks before Election Day. 
  • The Direct Ballot process is just like voting on Election Day
  • Polls are open on the two Saturdays before Election Day

Polls are open on Election Day 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
